Round 6 of 2012 Monster MX Nationals series is held in the quiet town of Hervey Bay on the 1st of July, around 300 klm’s north of Brisbane in Queensland. There are 3 classes running Under 19’s, Pro Lite and the Pro Open which will ensure a great show for all the fans. The past week or so has had some pretty lousy weather with a fair bit of rain but the clouds have opened up to blue skies and some fast dry racing is now on the cards.
A fella I once saw and cheered for over in Italy Racing MotoX is back in his home land, well I guess you could class him home, he’s from over the ditch. Josh Coppins from New Zealand, riding his Yamaha is on 301 points and looking to stretch his 21 point lead over 2nd placed Todd Waters and the closely trailing field.
The Dundowran Park gates open at 7am and engines will be kicked over at 8:30am for warm-ups. Cheap admission for an event of this size with $30 adult tickets and $15 tickets for the kids. This is Australian MotoX at it’s best, sure to be a cracker of an event!
