Are you looking to secure an Industrial Electrician role within a major industry such as mining, power stations, refineries or coal seam gas production? These roles are the cream as they usually provide better job security, benefits, pay rate (up to and more then $150k per year) and rosters with great work to play ratio. In today’s current job market it can seem hard to land one these jobs especially if you don’t have the suited experience. The trick is to stand out from the rest of the applicants, a smart way is by having the qualifications, skills and knowledge that suit the industry. High Voltage Switching training is a very handy course that will definitely help open the resource industry door for you and keep it open for years to come.
High Voltage Switching Course
The High Voltage Switching training course is intended for Electrical workers and Engineers working with high voltage switch gear in industrial facilities and networks. It is a full week course (5 days) with an emphasis on practical switching theory and exercises and the responsibilities of permit users and recipients.
Note : Completion of the High Voltage Switching training course does not in any way provide you with a trade qualification to work on HV distribution and transmission systems. If you’re looking to move into this industry you will need to look further into Electrical Transmission / Distribution Linesman ( Certificate III in ESI Distribution – 4 year apprenticeship provided by energy suppliers).
Free funding for your High Voltage Switching Course
For anybody that is already working in the industry, you might be a member of a redundancy scheme offering an annual training fund for any industry associated training…
