About the Platinum Towers Project

Brookfield Multiplex has been appointed by Salvo Property Group to design and construct Platinum Tower, a $280 million residential apartment building located at 263 City Road, Southbank in Melbourne.
The Platinum Tower building will span 52 levels incorporating 438 apartments of one, two, three and four bedroom configurations and expansive private facilities. The uppermost level of the Platinum Tower features a swimming pool, sauna, spa, gym, private dining, winter gardens and sky lounge with views of Melbourne CBD, Albert Park and Port Phillip Bay. The podium of the building accommodates a restaurant, cafe and concierge facilities and provides nine levels of car parking.
The Platinum Tower will have metallic painted precast feature elements and a curtain wall will feature from levels 42 to 52 including bronze and indigo coloured glass.
ESD features include a Green Wall on levels two to eight, rainwater harvesting and re-use for landscaping, water efficient fixtures and appliances, allocation for 170 bicycle racks and high performance glazing.
Construction will commence in July 2014 and is expected to be completed in July 2016.

- Relevant Trade Qualifications and / or NSW Licences
- Occupational Health and Safety – Construction Induction (White Card)
- Australian Drivers Licences
- High Risk Work Licence for any required plant, eg. EWP, Forklifts, Mobile Crane, Loaders.
- Safely Working at Heights – for EWP workers
- Ability to pass Medical including Drug and Alcohol screening
- Dogging/Rigging/Scaffolding tickets
- CPR and First Aid Certificate

An Enterprise Bargaining Agreement (EBA) is a collective industrial agreement between either an employer and a trade union acting on behalf of employees or an employer and employees acting for themselves.
