About the Western Sydney Stadium Project
Quick facts:
- $300M stadium redevelopment in Parramatta.
- Generate approximately 1,200 jobs during construction and between 600 and 900 jobs once operational for sporting event days and major events.
- Demolition of the old stadium to begin March 2017 and construction of the new Western Sydney Stadium will commence following demolition and receipt of stage two planning approval.
- Seating for 30,000 people

Qualifications to help you get a foot in at the Western Sydney Stadium Project
- Relevant Trade Qualifications and / or NSW Licences
- Occupational Health and Safety – Construction Induction (White Card)
- Australian Drivers Licences
- High Risk Work Licence for any required plant, eg. EWP, Forklifts, Mobile Crane, Loaders.
- Safely Working at Heights – for EWP workers
- Ability to pass Medical including Drug and Alcohol screening
- Dogging/Rigging/Scaffolding tickets
- CPR and First Aid Certificate
Companies / Organisations Involved with the Western Sydney Stadium Project
- Projects NSW in partnership with Venues NSW are to deliver the Western Sydney Stadium project.
- NSW Government – Main information portal
- Lendlease – named as preferred design and construct contractor to deliver the new Western Sydney Stadium in Parramatta, on behalf of Infrastructure NSW.

Western Sydney Stadium Project Union Greenfields Enterprise Bargaining Agreements
An Enterprise Bargaining Agreement (EBA) is a collective industrial agreement between either an employer and a trade union acting on behalf of employees or an employer and employees acting for themselves.
At this stage of the project we are unable to find any EBA’s. As any EBA’s are released / found they will be updated into this article.
