About the Capricornia Correctional Centre Expansion Project

Quick facts:

Located 20km north of Rockhampton in Queensland.
$200 million state funded expansion.
Early works started September 2017 and construction expected to conclude in 2020.
Over 100 jobs expected to be created during the construction phase.
Works to include:
- 164 additional residential cells in new buildings;
- new residential officers station;
- 100 bunks in secure cells;
- and a site-wide electronic security upgrade.

An Enterprise Bargaining Agreement (EBA) is a collective industrial agreement between either an employer and a trade union acting on behalf of employees or an employer and employees acting for themselves.

We are yet to find any EBA’s for this project. As we find any EBA’s they will be added to this article.
