About the Covalent Lithium Mt Holland Project – WA

The Covalent Lithium Project which will include the construction and operation of Mt Holland mine, at the Earl Grey lithium deposit, and a refinery for processing the lithium concentrate proposed for the Kwinana Industrial Area.

Quick Facts:

  • Location: 120 km south of Southern Cross in WA.
  • Owner: Covalent Lithium Pty Ltd, a joint venture between subsidiaries of Sociedad Química y Minera de Chile S.A. (SQM) and Wesfarmers Limited.
  • Project scope approximately $1.9 billion.
  • Project expected to start construction in second half of 2022.
  • Project expected to process first product in the second half of the 2024.

An Enterprise Bargaining Agreement (EBA) is a collective industrial agreement between either an employer and a trade union acting on behalf of employees or an employer and employees acting for themselves.

At this stage of the project no EBA’s are available. As any EBA’s are released they will be updated into this article.
